What is the procedure of dequervain tenosynovitis surgery? How is anesthesia given? And what anesthesia is used mostly? Thank you

Local infiltration with lignocaine.  Just a slit is created to let the inflammed tendon out.. but all said try medicines before surgery.. if not very advanced stage
