You are having problems expressing yourself in the right way. And for that reason, you have stopped expressing yourself altogether. This is not good for you as pent up feelings are not good for you. They will show their effects in different ways.
It is better to learn how to express and acquire some social skills to blend yourself well into your peer circles. That will improve your social standing and people will also give more importance to your opinions and feelings.
I understand that things have backfired for you in the past. I respect your troubled emotions that would have occurred due to such incidents. But, that shouldn’t move into a conclusion to stop expressing yourself altogether.
