There was a light yellow layer on my teeth and a little bit smell coming out of my mouth, kindly help me with a solution.

As per your description the layer might be plaque/ tartar. This once formed cannot be cleaned by your brush. It is removed by performing a procedure called scaling which is nothing but cleaning. Bad smell is also associated with it. So please visit your dentist every six months so that this problem does not repeat.
