Since the tooth was comfortable while the bridge was off, and the X-ray showed no obvious problem, it is reasonable to check the bite and observe for a short period before starting RCT. Mild sensitivity after re-cementation can occur, but persistent pain should be evaluated.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist for a bite/occlusion check. If the sensitivity continues or worsens, the abutment tooth should be pulp-tested. RCT should be considered only if the tooth shows signs of irreversible pulp inflammation or infection.
Health Tips
Avoid chewing hard foods on that side for a few days. If you develop spontaneous/night pain, swelling, or increasing pain, see your dentist promptly.
