Dengue NS1 Positive
I was detected with Dengue on 3rd Sept with platelets count 2 lacs, my Dr did not give me any medicines he just suggested to have rest and drink liquids. Since then, in my daily platelets count blood test the count is constant, i.e. 2 lacs and today it is 1 lac 99 thousand and still Dr has not given me any medicines he just suggested to rest
My question is, why is he not giving me medicines? Cant I go to the office now? Should I again get a Dengue test done to confirm if dengue still exists?

The treatment of dengue is like that itself.
We just have to monitor and give symptomatic treatment.
It's a viral infection , with supportive management it can be controlled well.
If you don't have any symptoms, yes you can go to office.
