First of all, relax. Every child is different. My son had his first tooth when he was 12 months old. So it's different for different children. The appearance of tooth under the gums is a very normal part of eruption process and rest assured, the tooth is on its way and can take upto 1 to 3 months in total to appear in the oral cavity. Trust me, i can tell you my first hand experience. It is not eruption delay. Being a parent is a huge mental load in itself and you are doing a wonderful job. As new parents, we are tempted to look into every tiny detail which is a good thing but worrying leads to addition of that parental anxiety which we dont need.
Next Steps
Sit back and relax. Enjoy the growth of your child!
