High grade fever with pain in joints is feature of all viral fevers. Low platelet counts is also seen in all viral fevers. Viral fevers require only supportive care. The viral fevers respond well within 5-7 days in absence of any other complication. Bed rest, plenty of oral fluids and paracetamol tablet for fever is all that is required.

Get blood investigations done. CBC with platelet count, Malaria Antigen test, Dengue NS1, SGPT, Bilirubin, BUN, Creatinine, Urine routine. Consult a physician with the reports.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  It could be a viral fever as well. In all viral fevers there is fever and body pains. In investigations, the platelets could be low. The treatment of viral fever is only supportive, i.e., management of symptoms. Drink plenty of fluids. Tab. Dolo 650mg thrice a day after. Take rest.
