Last year patient was diagnosed with plural effusion letter patient was undiagnosed with Tb but doctor treated patient with Tb treatment later after 6 months of medicine patient treatment was stopped, after two three months patient had severe coughing , for regular check up patient visited a more professional pulmonologist after getting a CT and x-ray of the lungs it was found that patient left lung has damage in area of 8 cm and the left ribs has bone degeneration and no Tb was found in sputum test, now patient is going on with treatment for severe infection and doctor is looking for lung biopsy

tb is diagnosed clinically..along with pleural fluid analysis..you don't get a simple positive report in many cases..so better connect with all your docs..can guide you accordingly
