Ct values are only for laboratory to decide whether a sample is positive for RTPCR.
The Ct value depends on n numbers of factors right from in all the stages of investigation preanalytica, analytical, to post analytical
Nothing to do with the severity of illnesses or infectivity.
It should not be a topic of debate among public or even among the clinicians.
It's only used as a interpretative criteria whether a rest run on RTPCR machine is positive or negative.
