Covid +ve and tongue slurring

My mother is biabetic and hypertensive prsn..bt mostly prsr is under 140/90 and diabetes btwn 150-200(both ff/pp)...but sddnly 1 mnth ago both went high sugar intially went to 340(random) and prssr was about 160/90...thz wr fluctuating for 15 days..and suddenly tongue strtd to slurred...but thr was no issue of one side numbess; dizzyness or anythng.. We admmtd her and she was covid +ve..CT scan of brain was done and it was normal..Both MR and Angio of brain showed no abnormality.. Only issue was found in MR angio  of neck.. It was written -"Soft tissue intensit plaque in proximal part of ryt intrnl carotd artry causing mild luminal narrowing". She recovered very fast and rlzd aftr 1 week No issues thr aftr...she is fine now.. Sugar/prssr are also cntrld. Is mild nwrrwng of carotid arty a real concern..does it require surgery??? She is taking clopivas ap 75; atorva 40 and othr sugar/prsr medicine

Hi This is very mild narrowing It won't require surgery But should see with carotid doppler for detail study of the plaque Also high blood sugar can cause TIA which might have resulted in slurring
