Covid vaccine for blood thinner tablet

Hi My father aged 70 is taking blood thinner tablet for couple of years now. Hy also having diabetic abd blood pressure. Can he take Covid vaccine now ? Is it safe for those people taking such blood thinner medicine?? Can you please clarify me??

If he is taking clopidogrel and ecospirin there is no need to stop.If he is taking Acitrom then do a PT INR test.Need to keep INR below 2.5

CoViD vaccine is a intramuscular injection. You will have to stop blood thinner for at least 5 days before the shot. Company is also not recommending. If blood thinner medication is a must then you will have to shift to other short acting anticoagulant and bridge.
