Hello, My mother has low-moderate level umbilical hernia. A week before consultation with a doctor over practo confirmed operation is the only possibility, can be operated in next 3-6 months. I am looking for advise if she gets vaccinated for covid, how long should she wait for hernia operation? Because I heard Anesthesia should is not advised to be used for 3 months for a person who is covid vaccinated. Please help!

That 2 month waiting period is for those who got covid positive in this 2nd wave, not for those who are just getting vaccinated. Post Vaccination 2 weeks wait for an elective surgery is good enough, while Emergency ones need not to wait.
