Hi Doc Is it safe for a women who has just completed her first trimester to take covid vaccination? Any proven side effects of either of the two vaccines in the market? Which one do you recommend?

Both vaccines available in India are not tested on pregnant females. That’s y it’s not advisable to take them as there is no data available on how they will affect the growing fetus. Initial 3-4 months are crucial as most of the defects in fetus occur during this period. Better not to take any vaccine or medicines without consulting with an OBG
