As per revised ICMR guidelines anyone tested positive for Covid-19 in home isolation is considered discharged after completing 10 days of isolation from the days when symptoms began including 3 fever free days (7+3). He/ she is further advised to undergo home isolation or quarantine for another period of 7 days in which he/she will adhere strictly to isolation, personal hygiene with Respiratory etiquettes, social and Physical distancing. After which a second test is not required to declare an individual Covid-19 negative.
If you've completed the above steps then you can reach out to your family, however I would suggest you to contact your State's Covid-19 helpline number for further instructions.
