My husband's Covid fever is not going away even after 10 days.His ESR is 29 and oxygen saturation is 96 since 1 week. His fever rises when he don't have paracetamol Currently he is taking clavam and ivermectin Wanted to know can I give him steroids?

First of all get the proper reports done .crp D dimer CBC Il 6  To rule out the cause of infection . Also do the ct scan report ..
Next Steps
then follow up with reports and give the treatment according suitable to the cause of disease randomly providing steroids is harmful

Blood tests need to be done. CBC CRP D-DIMER LDH Is there any cough or History of smoking or past infection in lungs like Tb/Severe Pneumonia or Bronchitis etc He may need an HRCT chest Post that we may think of steroids.
