Cough induced Vomiting
Hello sir / mam,
I want to ask for my 2 yrs old daughter. She is experiencing wet/ muscus cough past fast 4-5 days. Coughing increased at night and sleeping. Whenever she coughs she also Vomits and empties her stomach.
Overall she is active and playfully. Kindly advice
Vomiting with cough at night happens because of the build up of mucus in the posterior pharynx, and the throat. In the day time the mucus is either ingested or coughed out, but at night, it collects and causes temporary obstruction, due to which child coughs violently and expels the mucus with vomiting.
It is common Flu.
