Cough formation and gastric

I get congestion problem in throat while lying down to sleep. This leads to problem in breathing and hence can't sleep. There are two causes leading to this, one is gastric trouble I have and I also get cough formation fast. I get cough formation whenever I had to sit in AC and also consume something cold. This unknown uncomfortable feeling not allowing me to sleep at all from few days. Please suggest.

I understand ur concern...yup u r absolutely right there may be both causes for this...but but more case history is required....Do u have Dyspnea?? When u removes cough it comes easily or u have to apply pressure over throat?? Is there any past infection?? How is ur cough colour?? In ur gastric trouble do u have gastric refulx along with burning sensation in chest?? Once i clear my diagnosis with more multiple Q...then definitely i will help u to relive ut problems....
