Hello Doctor, I am 30 weeks pregnant and suddenly started with sore throat and dry cough before 4 days. Since yesterday, the cough is with expectoration. I am taking Levocetrizine now and started antibiotics today. Please suggest some cough syrup safe during pregnancy as the ribs and stomach have become painful due to cough. Also, will excessive coughing be harmful to my baby in any way?
