musculocutaneous pain can be relieved by taking paracetamol or any NSAIDs, However kindly rule out other causes of chest { cardiac / Gastric } costochondritis will be associated with pain on moving of arms, lifting objects and tenderness around the chest. if these signs are not present suspect other diagnosis.
