Continuous fever
My baby 20 months old is getting fever continuoisly.The temperature is around 100.if I am using crocin or calpol it is not getting down.. Temperature is increasing to 101 102.if I use mefthol p only fever was coming down but it is not good to use mefthol every time know.. but fever is not reducing with other medicine.. what I have to do... Can u plz suggest me sir
Use plain paracetamol every 6th hrly along with tepid sponging.if temp is 102 or above use meftal p.meftal p can b used 8 th hrly.maintain gud hydration.give plenty of fluids like ors. If no other problems u can wait for 3 days.but if child is dull not taking feeds not passing urine any rash or bleeding from anywhere consult pediatrician immideatly.
