Continuos dry cough after Herpes shingle
Sir..pls guide me to get relief from continuous & severe dry cough for the past 5days. This happened after I got rectified from herpes shingles. ENT specialist , skin doctor said my herpes shingles have got rectified.But I got 2problems : left side face palsy ( herpes affected my left air) & then continuous dry cough..for face palsy am going to physiotherapy n also they r doing electric stimulation.. But cough I am unable to rectify & even my ENT doctor told me to consult pulmonologist.. I have attached my x-ray & blood test reports.pls help me what to do..( x ray taken when I was in standing position)
First of all welcome on Practo..Your x-ray seems Lt lower lobe mild Plural effusion..Now it's.not confirmed..because it's may be seen like this due to shadow , when u took this photo from your cell phone...It's not shooted in fully inspired condition?? Second your haemogram is normal...
U may get relief with mild corticosteroid..
Just go for HRCT of Thorax if your cough persistent..For better evaluation of your lungs..
