My son is 5 months old. I never had breast milk so he is feeding on amul cow milk.  since last 5 days he is extremely constipated. What to do?

Cow's milk is major cause of constipation so stop it and start formula powder qith proper dilution, instead of milk... You can also start complementary feeding like dal water,rice water etc... Give stool softner, lactulose syp 2.5ml if requires...

Cow milk can be cause of constipation. Don't dilute the milk. Just boil and use it to feed the child. Rectal suppository Hallen can be used to relieve constipation. Otherwise glycerine enema may be required.

cows milk often causes constipation, better to give formula feeds. For now can give stool softeners like duphalac 3 ml once daily but can't be used for long time
