My father is 73 years old. He feels the urge to poop but is unable to. He feels it is stuck. A few weeks back he had constipation and he was prescribed Cremaffin syrup for it. Even that doesn't seem to help right now. He has been taking medicines for other conditions as prescribed by his diabetologist, neurologist and urologist. I'm not sure if this poop difficulty is a side effect of those medications. But I would like some help on how to remedy it. I've tried adding more fibre to his diet but see no improvement.

Consult Now
Many medicine of neurology can have constipation as a side effect. Even diabetes and neurological conditions itself can cause diabetes.  Considering his age colonoscopy is required.
