Right eye has been prone to redness for two years since I left a contact lens in too long on one occasion. It got very red and never seemed to fully recover. The eye has not been hurting, it just gets more red than the other eye after computer use. However lately I find that I can do very little without it getting quite red and this redness has recently spread to the other side of the eye. The problem is not worsened by contacts and is different to irritation caused by allergies or rubbing.
