Constant dark brown/black period blood

For the last year my periods have changed, I get a three day period max which consists of old blackblood, never any fresh blood. This blood normally is dried and comes in dark clots. Went to docs 6 months ago and had a Transvaginal ultrasound and was told all normal and not worry. Just feel like this is not normal. No bleeding in between periods
