Hello I have burnt my face with hot oil...I got a wound with second degree superficial burns on face because of that hot oil spash on my eyes as well...I went to eye doctor they prescribed me prednisolone,moxiflacin and teary eyes drops and I took antibiotics tablets for my skin for 3 days...my face and eyes both got better but once I stopped taking antibiotics again I had conjunctivitis in both eyes for 5 days...still I am taking the same drops with cool packs my eyes are not getting better my doctor not prescribing anything.. please help. My eyes are paining and red...water is coming from the eyes...my eyes stick together when I got up in the morning... please help

Hello mam, Following thermal injury, there will be inflammation in the eyes which leads to redness and irritation. How many days ago you had this hot oil exposure? Do you have blurring of vision? Please use refresh tears eye drops in both eyes 1 drop every 1 hourly, panthegel at night before sleep Decision whether to continue prednisolone and moxifloxacin can be taken only after direct consultation

You need tablet amoxyclav twice a day for 5-7 days for your conjunctivitis along with eye drop moxifloxacin 6times a day along with a good lubricant eye drop gen teal 6 times a day If no relief occurs..consult your ophthalmologist
