Confusion between doxtsl and doxycycline

I had this gum bleeding and jaw bone pain to which I went to doctor who prescribed doxycycline. The individual in medical store gave doxt sl. I only realised this confusion after taking one tablet yesterday. The websites show that doxt sl is used in prevention of pregnancy. Would der be any side effects to this? Any variation in my coming periods ? Anythg I should do for this ?please help
