Your father wanted you to become a doctor which is his dream or ambition.  But what is your ambition and for that have you assessed your capabilities which makes better sense. Since you have taken B.Pharma which is also within medical & health industry you have fulfilled 40% of your father's ambition. If you are happy with this course, fix your mind and pursue. Complete the course and go for higher studies. People in Pharmaceutical field are having secured job and well paid pay packets.  You can think of doing research and get a doctorate.
