I've been coughing for the last two days and I've been coughing up green slime(i don't know what to call it) with some darkish green/black in it.I am a smoker so could it be from the cigarettes?Should I be worried?

Hello when it is quite possible that the green phlegm looks like the line which you are talking about because of smoking regularly that would be lower respiratory tract infection which is causing the symptoms...I would suggest you to meet a physician...It's better you start to cut down on your ciggarettes...Thank you
