Coming off antidepressants

It's been about 6 months since I abruptly stopped taking my anxiety medication and I'm beginning to feel dizzy, sick and headachy as well as very depressed and suffering from insomnia. I've booked an appointment to see a doctor but I'm really worried about what the long term effects might be from not taking the medication.
