Colic - 3 and half months baby

2020-11-04 13:46:57
My baby cries most of the time during day for unknown reasons other than nappy change and hunger. Doctor identified this as Colic and tried gas medicines and told this will end by 3 months. But it's still continuing. It's difficult to put her to sleep. She cries from 6-8 pm every day before sleeping. Tried everything in the internet, nothing worked. When will this end? I'm not enjoying motherhood in any ways and heartbroken to see my baby in tears.

Hi, I can understand your concern... In early infancy crying in evening is mostly due to colicky pain....so Do burp well for 15 mins after feeding... you can give digestive drops to relieve gas trouble... Give colicaid drops for colicky pain...
Next Steps
consult online if requires...

Hi, I understand your worries. Is the baby gaining weight adequately? Is the baby latching properly and is the baby getting enough milk?
Next Steps
First check if you have enough milk or take tab Lactare to increase milk Apply coconut oil around the umbilicus and massage in a circular pattern daily Give a warm water bath in the evening too Burp after every feed for 15-20 min Give colicaid drops if nothing works.

It is most probably infantile colic, which can stay upto 5-6 months. After that it will reduce
