Cold & cough remedy for 45days old baby

My baby is 45 days old and she is suffering from cold and cough is there any home remedies or balm for the same as our doctor said that we can not give any medicine for cold and cough for this much small baby. Please help.

Saline Nasal drops in case there is Nasal block . Paracetamol in case of fever.  Humidification of the room by running an electric kettle or a steamer in a corner of the room once or twice a day
