Cold and cough in pregnancy

2026-08-16 04:49:19
I am 24 weeks pregnant and I am having cold and cough from 2 days. One nostril is blocked. What shall I do as I cannot take any medicines.

Congestion and cough at 24 weeks are common and usually clear up on their own within a week or so.
Next Steps
Try steam inhalation, saline nasal drops, and warm fluids first, since these are safe through pregnancy.
Health Tips
If you develop fever, breathlessness, or this drags on beyond a week, please see your obstetrician.
