Feelings of being unheard and not being able to relate with the world around can be very emotionally overwhleming and tiring. The personality as well as the life experiences of the individual can determine the range of severity of the distress and can lead to being unable to manage emotions, understand self and world and have certain persisting thought patterns that can evoke distress.
You recognising the need to talk to someone is the first step. Talking about how you feel might help you bring things more into perspective. This might lead to deeper understanding of distressing issues ( cognitive, emotional, physical etc) and how to manage them.
