Clopidogrel and esophagitis

My mom is healing with esophagitis using pantaprazole since 3 months. Now new doctor prescribed her clopidogrel. Is it safe for her to take anti platelet drug while healing with esophagitis? I've read many articles in internet says it's risk for use of clopidogrel in patients healing with esophagitis as it may increase risk of bleeding.

You are right. But Clopidogrel is usually given for cardiac and neurological illnesses. Benefits far outweigh the risks of oesophagitis/peptic ulcer.
