Chronic tonsillitis
My tonsils are always enlarged. It never reduces it s size. Previously I used monocef cv to cure this infection and doctor told to use dentosys mouth wash gargle regularly.

Hello. For a bacterial tonsillitis, any penicillin group of antibiotics (Amoxicillin or Amoxicillin with Clavulanate) are usually the first choice.
Enlarged tonsils doesn't necessarily mean tonsillitis and hence antibiotics should not be used regularly/ self medicated.
Repeated infection of the tonsils and persistently enlarged tonsils can be cured completely only by surgery.
