Since three months, I've been suffering with chronic folliculitis. Two or three hair follicles gets infected and turns in to a pus reservoir on my upper body and face. Along with this, there is associated lymph edema and feverish symptoms. I usually get only one like this at a time. I've used anti-fungal soaps and shampoos thinking that its a fungal infection (ketoconazole) for almost 45 days. But still the problem exists. I am non-diabetic and 29 years old male. Is this due to bacterial infection or stress? Please advice.
