Chickenpox is a viral illness and usually passes on in 7 to 10 days. Having boils during active phase is normal and usually the itching that accompanies it needs to be treated.using antihistamines like cetrizine works well and ointments which have acyclovir works well .maintain hygine.regular bathing is important
Use cotton clothes
Do not puncture scabs
Neem leaves work well when they are boiled in water.
Do not apply coconut water to boils.
Use coconut water for drinking.
Change the child's bedding regularly.

once your Peds has confirmed that it's chicken pox the child should not recieve chickenpox vaccine

any child or adults who come in contact with someone who has chickenpox should get chicken pox prevention shots if possible in first 3 days or otherwise as soon as possible.
chickenpox can be prevented by giving 2 shots of preventive vaccine
first shot at 15 months and next anytime after 3 months of previous dose.
