Hi Mam, Did your husband really have chicken pox? How sure are you about it? Next thing is that if he had definitely chicken pox then there are high chances that your child also has chicken pox as it can  spread from one person to another even before the skin rash appears. It can spread through touch or through sneezing or coughing. Sometimes some skin rash resembles chicken pox but it can be caused by other virus Eg. Hand foot mouth disease.
