Chicken droppings on Eggs

2019-06-09 13:55:22
Hi doctors Today, while boiling eggs, I noticed some chicken droppings on it. Later I read that viruses can spread through chicken (droppings) like Nipah Virus or Bird Flu, etc. Can any doctor provide insight into this? And what precaution can be taken in future to avoid infection?

Hi Boiled  egg is  not  direct  source  of  bird  flu. It is the chicken flesh which  carries  the  virus. Nipah  virus  is again  zoonotic  disease Caused  by  bats. Precautions   - You  need  to  take  precautions  in endemic  areas. Eat  Healty  food. Avoid  exposure  to  the  causative  factors. Avoid  eating  chicken  in that  area. Theses  are  two  communicable  diseases  so  avoid  the  contact  of the patient.
