Hello doctor, I m having chest tightness in left side. When I turn aside getting pain. It stays about 3 to 5 mins and becomes normal then. Recently stopped smoking. Is this because of stopping or any other problem? Please advice...

Considering your age heart disease is unlikely. A 2 D Echo and stress test will rule out structural and ischemic heart disease. Once these tests are negative a physician will be able to investigate you for less dangerous causes of chest pain
