Cavernoma in brain
A cavernoma in right thalamus size 1.2 x 1.4 cm and another cavernoma in left frontal lobe size 2.0 mm is size found. The patient has sought two times blurry vision and headache in last 10 years for few hours. One in 2008 and another in 2019. Though it was revealed in 2008. At that time MRI was done and cavernoma was found that was bigger in size as mentioned above.
Sir, my question is what is the sevearity of the problem and what is the treatment.
Please suggest me about this. I am attaching his report.
There is no need to panic
Cavernomas are non cancerous lesions and grow very slowly. Surgery is done only in case they bleed. Since the size of your cavernomas is small only serial follow up is enough
