Can ultrasound detect dissection in the cartoid artery or we need to do any further tests i was having neckpain so did ultrasound last month came back normal is this fine doctor can ultrasound detect it if it's done after fiveweeks plzzzzzzz help me reply doctor

Hi... Generally CT angiography or some mri fat sat sequence Which is superior to carotid doppler... Consult for more details
