Can HSV1 turn into HSV2

Recently been diagnosed with HSV1 but tested negative for HSV2. My partner has HSV1 as well. If he was to perform oral sex on me while he doesn't have any coldsores would the virus turn into HSV2 (GENITAL HERPES) or would i just have HSV 1 ON my genitals.
