I work in a medical laboratory and through some rapid tests of blood, a drop of HIV psitive serum jumped into my eye. I didn't wash my eye until an hour when it starts to irritate me. What are my chances of contracting hiv this way through the eye?

HELLO, DON'T PANIC, ONE OF THE WAY OF HIV INFECTION IS RIGHT U CAN START PEP. N GO FOR TEST IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL FROM WHERE THEY AVAIL PEP. RESULTS R VERY AUTHENTIC. PEP HAVE LOT OF SIDE EFFECTS.SO THINK, OR GOT ELISA KIT TEST FOR HIV. OK. IF RESULT IS NEGATIVE NO HIV INFECTION IS THEIR. OK.
