Can gallbladder polyps cause cancer

I am mother of two in age of 35. I was vomiting a green mucous since a week so got sonography done and its been confirmed its gallbladder polyps. Heard sometimes it can be cancerous. What are the symptoms to know whether the gallbladder polyps has become cancerous or not?

Polyps are fairly common. All are not cancerous. Few need wait and watch abd few need operation. you consult with sonography report.

[ ] Hi Gall bladder polyp is common as in other part of body such is generally benign condition. Gall bladder polyp requires removal of gall bladder when the size of a single polyp is more than 1 cm because chances of developing cancer of gall bladder is 2 percent higher than in general population.
