Butterfly Patches are appearing on wife's face. PL Suggest me how to get rid of those patches on the face skin

This seems like melasma. The good news is that we have lot of therapies to tackle it like creams, chemical peels, lasers etc.
Next Steps
Use liberal sunscreens and see a dermatologist.
