I am experiencing burning in my pee sometimes it's painful too. So is it a cause of an UTI? Or a cause of diabetes or an initial symptom of pregnancy?

Mostly it is urine infection, start with antibiotics and alkalising agents for releif. Also if possible get a urine routine and USG done.

Burning while urination is a sign of vaginal infection / urinary tract infection. Diabetes increases risk of UTI, due to high sugar in urine. It is not a symptom of pregnancy.
Next Steps
do urine routine test for pus cells. syrup cital 2 tsp in 1 glass of water twice q day, will decrease burning sensation. improve genital area hygiene. increase water intake and consult for antibiotics after urine report.
