While driving my bike by mistake my leg got in touch with the silencer pipe. And badly burn my right leg (above the ankle). I haven't taken ATS and since last 2days applying SilvereX ointment. It's healing but the process is slow. Do I need to take ATS and do I need to take antibiotic medicine. If so then may I know what medicine I should take. Thanks

Hello sir... Burn wounds do take a while to heal. It depends upon the degree of burns, the treatment protocol and the comorbid conditions. ATS is required if it is more than 5 years since the last inj. It doesnt enhance the healing, but prevent the other infection.
