Bump in mouth after injury

2018-04-22 05:37:07
I took a softball to the face and my bottom teeth dug into my lip. It has mostly healed but seems to be leaving a bump which is a little harder than its surroundings. Will it go away or could it be permanent?

We cannot exactly make out what is your problem as it is not very clear and no comments before seeing the lesion,,so visit a dentist in person.

it is not uncommon for the lip to turn hard after an injury. this usually happens as the injured lip is healing from within. this usually settles down in 2 months time.
Next Steps
you could consult with a maxillofacial surgeon in your locality. He will be able to review you healing and intevene if required.
Health Tips
regularly massaging that area as it heals tends to hasten the softening process
